Did you know that we are a charity? For over 70 years, the Citizens Advice Bureaux has been a vital part of the fabric of your community. This has only been possible through the support of the community – through our voluntary Trustee Board, voluntary advisers, and financial support.

Because of this, we are completely independent: all our advice is impartial, confidential and free. The support and generosity of members of the public helps us to maintain our independence.

The demand for our service is growing all the time, and our funding doesn’t keep pace with that demand. Extra help is needed to pay for:-

• Training, support and expenses for our volunteer advisers
• ICT systems
• and all the other resources needed to run an effective organisation

All of our work can help you – and every day helps many of the most vulnerable people in the local community.
