Salary:           Local Authority Scale 6, point 26 (Currently £21,412 per annum)
Hours:           37 per week
You must have proven experience of advice work including welfare benefits and money advice.   You must have effective oral, writing and numeracy skills and an ordered approach to work.   You will have the ability to use IT in the provision of your casework service.

Rushmoor CAB Advice Session Supervisor
This is a new opportunity for a permanent part time Advice Session Supervisor, to support a district wide team.
Salary:           Local Authority Scale 5 (currently fte £18,907 - actual salary £9,453)
Hours:           18.5 per week (flexible to include Fridays)
Due to recent funding developments, we are looking for an enthusiastic person to play a key role in leading our busy and lively advice teams at Aldershot and Farnborough CABx.
The postholder will need recent and ongoing experience in advice work, with good communication skills, to provide guidance, support, and practical assistance to advisers to maintain the quality of advice given to clients.
The role includes occasional evening sessions (around one per month), and will be key to linking the general advice service to specialist bureau projects. There may also be opportunities to develop the role as opportunities arise within the wider bureau team.

Welfare Benefits and Debt Caseworker (Legal Services Commission)
This new opportunity is for a permanent part time caseworker to deliver LSC contract casework.
Salary:           Local Authority Scale 6 - SO1 depending on experience
                          (Currently fte £21,412 - £23,749 - actual salary £10,706 - £11,874)
Hours:           18.5 per week (Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
The postholder will work as part of the LSC casework team to deliver welfare benefits and debt casework to specified standards.   Well structured support and supervision is built into this role, with good levels of expertise existing within the team.
Ideally, you will have proven experience of welfare benefits and money advice casework, with an ordered approach.   Proficient use of IT and administrative systems is also required.

This role is to delivery a full CAB casework service to mental health service users
Salary:           Local Authority Scale 5 - 6 depending upon experience

This post is to work as part of the Heathlands CAB team to deliver a holistic casework service to clients – primarily in welfare benefits and debt, as well as the wider range of CAB issues.   Well structured support and supervision is provided, with good levels of expertise within the existing team.   Taking referrals from mental health professionals, you will be expected to build good relationships with external agencies, working together towards good client outcomes and recovery.
Ideally, you will have proven experience of welfare benefits and debt casework, with experience and understanding of mental health issues, and their impact on clients.   You will also need good IT skills.
